Modelling the strength of cashew nutshell ash-cement-based concrete

This study models the flexural strength of concrete modified with cashew nutshell ash (CNA) using reactivity index concepts. Cashew was valorised and its used at 5, 10, 15 20 wt.% cement via mix proportions grades C 25–40 targeted MPa 28 days. The indexes (RIs) were evaluated based on oxide compositions chemical moduli both CNA. design parameters, water/binder binder/aggregate ratios, RIs applied to model 7–90 days’ curing. results revealed that, 90 curing, developed yielded high precisions 91 84% R 2 , respectively, hence indicating a good agreement. Moreover, there relationship between these previous studies. Therefore, incorporating supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) can be efficiently predicted models; this would save time money when carrying out experimental works.
